"As the founder of the 50 Over 50 Awards and The Bloc, I am proud to have launched this initiative to honor those aged 50 and over who continue to make extraordinary contributions to their communities. The first event, held in Nebraska, brought together government leaders, business innovators, and community changemakers to celebrate the remarkable achievements of these individuals.

 

When I transitioned leadership of The Bloc, I entrusted the Nebraska event to its capable team, ensuring its continued success while I focused on expanding the awards across local communities nationally. Today, the 50 Over 50 Awards are set to honor leaders across the U.S., starting in cities like Portland, Charleston, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Orlando, Billings, Atlanta, Denver, and Los Angeles, and growing into a nationwide celebration.
